Grounds For Divorce

While there are several fault-based grounds for divorce in Tennessee, "irreconcilable differences" is the "no-fault" grounds for divorce and is the most commonly used. DivorceWriter provides no-fault (uncontested) divorce forms.

If at least one spouse has lived in Tennessee for the past 6 months, either spouse can file for divorce there.
